1946

Warwick Recorder Co. was founded and primarily sold dictation equipment. It gradually focused on internal communications equipment and then shifted to the telecommunications industry. The mortality rate in this industry is very high, but Warwick remains the oldest telecommunications company in Cleveland operating under the original family ownership.

1956

Telecommunications replaced dictation equipment as Warwick was contracted to install its first internal telephone system in the Cleveland area.

1963

Warwick Communications, Inc. was the first private company to install an electronic, solid-state telephone switchboard in the United States.

1975

Warwick Communications, Inc. becomes an IWATSU dealer. Warwick is currently one of only three active dealers with such longevity with IWATSU.

1979

CCI was founded to provide sales, service, and design of telephone and voice processing for the Akron, Canton, and Youngstown areas .

1985

Ameritech chose Warwick Communications, Inc. as one of their first Authorized Distributors in 1985. Since 1988, Ameritech has recognized Warwick Communications for their Excellence in Sales as an Authorized Distributor.

1988

Warwick Communications, Inc. has been selling Inter-Tel products since 1988.

1993

Warwick Communications, Inc. adds a Network Division.

1995

IWATSU America, Inc. recognized Warwick Communications, Inc. in 1995 for 20 years of dealers sales and support.

1995

Warwick Communications, Inc. attains Top 10 Dealer status nationally.

1996

Warwick Communications, Inc. repeats its Top 10 Dealer status nationally.

1997 & 2000

The Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management selects Warwick Communications, Inc. as a Family Firm of Distinction twice.

1998 & 1999

Warwick Communications, Inc. received the 9/90 Award from Inside Business in 1998 and 1999 for being one of the top performing companies in the nine county areas. In 1998, Warwick Communications enters Inter-Tel's Million Dollar Club.

1998 through 2008 - a decade of excellance

Warwick Communications, Inc. is awarded Inter-Tel Platinum Dealer Status - an honor earned only by Inter-Tel / Mitel's Top National Distributors / Providers annually.

Warwick is awarded Cleveland Magazine's Inside Business' 990 Award. An award recognizing the Top 90 Companies throughout Northeast Ohio's 9 counties.

1999

Warwick is again honored with re-attaining Cleveland Magazine's Inside Business' 990 Award. An award recognizing the Top 90 Companies throughout Northeast Ohio's 9 counties.

2001

The Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management inducts Warwick into its Family Business Hall of Fame.

2002

Warwick Communications, Inc. wins the NEO Success Award, which is given to the top-performing companies in Northeast Ohio. This prestigious award is given by Inside Business Magazine.

2005

Warwick Communications, Inc. is ranked as an Oaisys Silver Elite Dealer.

Consolidated Communications, Inc. was purchased by Warwick Communications to become the largest communciations dealer in Northeast Ohio.
