Challenge

In 2010, Elgin Furniture opened a new store in Euclid, Ohio, adding to the locations they already had in Cleveland Heights and North Randall. The opening of this new store prompted Matt Brenner to explore what new communications technologies were available. Matt wanted to deploy a solution that would not only enhance customer service but also improve employee communications.

Solution

Warwick Communications and Elgin Furniture partnered to create a single voice and data network to serve all three sites. Previously, each store had its own telephone system, voice mail system, phone lines, and data connectivity. The goal in creating a new network was to leverage voice over IP (VoIP) technology to allow all three sites to share a single telephone and voice mail system (Mitel 5000 VoIP), providing seamless integration of all sites.

Warwick designed a platform that provides the following benefits:

  • Seamless integration: All sites are connected over a single network, allowing intercom calls between sites, ease of transferring between sites, a centralized voice mail for all users, and a single system to administer.
  • Savings: Phone lines at two locations were canceled, which will create significant savings in monthly operational expenses.
  • Simplified operations: One phone system to manage, one carrier providing voice and Internet service to all sites.
  • Single contact: Elgin now has one point of contact for their voice and data services.

Whether Elgin needs a new computer added to their network or and additional phone extension, Warwick is just a phone call – or email – away.
