Thanks to a wide variety of devices, it's getting harder and harder to escape the Internet. It's on our desk, in our pocket, and even on our TV. It would seem, though, that's just the way we like it.
A recent survey shows that 61% of people consider themselves addicted to the Internet. The results are higher for women and younger audiences, but they are relatively steady across a wide range of demographics.
One of the more interesting findings was that respondents addicted to other behaviors (like smoking or drinking) were less likely to be addicted to the Internet.
